In the Export Studio, you decide what the title page, dedication and imprint of your exports contain.
You reach the Export Studio through “Export & Import”. At the top you choose the book, then edit the “Title page, dedication & imprint” block and the default reference mode for mentions. The settings apply to the exports that contain these parts.
You can set the title and author of the title page differently from the book, for example for a pen name. The ISBN is optional and is checked as soon as you fill it in. The dedication appears as a page of its own, and the imprint either at the front after the title page or at the back after the last chapter.
The default reference mode determines how mentions appear in the export: as plain text, as a footnote or with the link style ignored. When you export, you can override it. You choose the typography preset only there, not here.
Open “Export & Import” and choose the “Export Studio”.
What you see afterwards: The page shows the “Book” field at the top.
Choose the book and fill in the fields “Title (title page)”, “Author (title page)”, “ISBN”, “Dedication” and “Imprint”.
What you see afterwards: The fields are filled in.
If you like, choose “Imprint placement” and the “Default mention export mode”.
What you see afterwards: The selection is set.
Choose “Save”. With “Continue to export manuscript →” you go straight to the export.
What you see afterwards: “Saved.”

The details belong to the book and are backed up with the project. They appear in the files you export and pass on.
Title and author each have at most 255 characters, dedication and imprint at most 10,000 each. An ISBN you fill in must have a valid ISBN-10 or ISBN-13 checksum; Illumentis does not query a database for this. “Ignore link style” is currently technically identical to “Plain text”. The studio does not replace professional book typesetting.
When you export, under “Export manuscript”. The studio only sets title page, dedication, imprint and the default reference mode. Presets other than “Classic novel” require Vastitas.
The checksum of an ISBN-10 or ISBN-13, as soon as the field is filled in. It does not look anything up in an ISBN database.
Currently the same as “Plain text”. The option is kept in the data model for later use.
