Who can do this?
Anyone who is signed in and sees other people’s content can report. The legal team reviews the reports; actions that block an account permanently are confirmed by a second person.

Reporting sends posts, messages or accounts to the team for review.
If you come across something in the community that is not okay, you can report it. “Report” is available in four places: on forum posts, on club posts, on individual direct messages, and on profiles and in the name menu. You cannot report your own posts or your own account.
In the dialog, you describe what happened under “What happened?”. The report goes straight to the legal team for review, with no intermediate step. For a post, the team reviews the post and the account behind it, including for a post made under a persona. For a direct message, you only release that one message.
You find your reports and their status in the support center under “Reports”. The team only tells you the rough outcome: action taken or no action needed. Which action it was stays hidden from you. Blocking does not replace reporting: if you just want no more contact, block the account.
On the post, the message or the profile, choose “Report”.
What you see afterwards: The dialog “Report post”, “Report message” or “Report account” opens.
Describe the incident under “What happened?”.

The report contains your description, the reported account and the reported item; for a message, its content. It is stored as a ticket and belongs to your account.
The description can have at most 2,000 characters. Your own content and your own account cannot be reported. A result only appears after the review and only says whether an action was taken. An action targets the account behind the post.
An admin has reviewed a report against your account and asks for your statement. You reply in the message thread.
The team reviews it. Depending on the result, a warning can follow, for example. You learn whether an action was taken or none was needed.
No. Your own posts and your own account cannot be reported.
