Bugs and ideas go straight to the team as a ticket; you track the status and reply in the thread.
In Illumentis, bugs, wishes and ideas reach the team directly, without a detour through email or public forums. For this, the support center offers “Report a bug” for bugs and “Feedback” for everything else. During the beta this is explicitly welcome: finding bugs counts as helping, not as a disturbance.
Every report is created as a ticket. You see the status and can write to the team in the thread. For a bug, title and description are required. Optionally, you choose a severity, attach a screenshot and send technical diagnostic data along.
The diagnostic data is voluntary and switched off by default. Under “What data will be sent?” you see beforehand what a submission includes.
Open the support center and choose “Report a bug”.
What you see afterwards: The form “Report feedback / a bug” appears.
Enter “Title” and “Description”, and describe what you did, what happened and what you expected.
What you see afterwards: Both fields are filled in.
Optionally choose a “Severity” and, with “Select screenshot”, an image.
What you see afterwards: The file name appears as “Selected: …”.
If needed, turn on “Include technical diagnostic data (helps with troubleshooting)” and choose “Submit”.
What you see afterwards: “Thanks for your report!” The ticket appears under “My bug reports”.

A ticket contains a title, a description and, optionally, a severity and a screenshot. Every bug report also sends the address of the current page, the browser details and an error code. You send diagnostic data only if you tick the box explicitly. You can withdraw a ticket.
The title has at most 255 characters. A screenshot can be PNG, JPEG or WebP and at most 10 MB. Up to 5 attachments are possible per ticket. The diagnostic data is limited to 20,000 bytes. The team assigns the internal priority.
Technical details, such as the editor state and the last technical error. It is off by default, and “What data will be sent?” shows you the content beforehand as readable text.
Up to 10 MB, as PNG, JPEG or WebP. The attachment is uploaded after the ticket has been created.
Low, Medium, High or Critical is your own assessment. The team assigns its own priority internally.
