Who can do this?
The owner’s add-on determines the project-related features and limits in the project. Co-authors use what the owner’s add-on unlocks. Only the owner can invite, and it requires Vastitas.

Emersio is the free foundation; add-ons such as Vastitas extend it with Pro features and higher limits.
Beta phase note: Buying add-ons is not active for now. You cannot book add-ons at the moment; the free tier Emersio remains available to you unchanged.
Illumentis works with a free tier, Emersio, and an add-on for the Pro tier: Vastitas for fiction and worldbuilding. You write and plan without an add-on at first. For certain features, and for amounts above a limit, the project or your account needs an active add-on.
If you reach a limit, Illumentis shows which add-on or which limit is affected. Nothing is lost and nothing is deleted: existing entries can still be viewed, edited and deleted, and only creating new ones is restricted.
For project-related features, the add-on of the project owner decides, not that of the co-authors. If the owner has Vastitas, everyone who works on the project benefits. For actions of your account, such as creating a new project, your own add-on counts.
Start working without an add-on.
What you see afterwards: The free tier is available to you with the basic limit settings.
Create an entry, for example a character.
What you see afterwards: When you reach the limit, a notice with the number appears.
In your account settings, open “Workflow & Studios” and check the status of your add-ons in the “Studio overview”.
What you see afterwards: Each row shows “Active”, “Trial” or “Locked”.
An add-on cannot be bought for now.
What you see afterwards: The studio overview shows the status; a time-limited unlock, such as a trial, appears there with an end date.

The status of your add-ons is stored in your account. Billing and cancellation run through the payment provider. Your content is kept regardless of the add-on status.
Bluegreen Solutions sets the specific limit numbers, and they can change; Illumentis names the current value in the notice as soon as you reach a limit. A trial lifts the quantity limits for content types, but for books, projects, shares and co-authors only an active subscription counts.
You fall back to the free tier. Existing content can still be viewed, edited and deleted. Only creating new entries above the limits and Pro features are restricted.
“This requires an active … add-on for the project owner.” means the feature belongs to the add-on. “Limit for … reached on the current plan” with a number after it means the quantity limit is used up.
For project-related features, the owner’s add-on counts. For actions of your account, your own counts.
A small “Pro” marker shows that a feature requires an active Pro add-on of the project owner, for example in co-author management.
