Public user profile

Available Free Last reviewed: 24 Oct 2026

A profile shows what a person has shared with others and offers actions such as follow or message.

What is it for?

You open another person’s profile in the forum, in a club or in a conversation: click the name and choose “View profile”. At the top are the avatar, display name and tag; for team members, the label “Team member” with their role. Below come the actions (not on your own profile) and the shared sections. With “Back” you return to the previous page.

Which sections appear depends on the person’s settings: “About me” (the bio), “Cosmetics” with unlocked badges, optionally the talent tree progress and the collaboration proof, the “Beta reader rating” and “Published books” from the Library of Alexandria. If the profile is private, it only says “This profile is private.”

On other people’s profiles you find the same actions as in the name menu, plus “Block”: send message, follow, send friend request and report. Which sections others see on your profile, you set in your account settings.

How it works

  1. In the forum, in a club or in a conversation, click a name and choose “View profile”.

What you see afterwards: The person’s profile opens.

  2. Read the sections or use the actions at the top.

What you see afterwards: Depending on the action, a message, a follow or a friend request goes out.

  3. Choose “Back”.

What you see afterwards: You are back on the previous page.

Who can do this?

Other active accounts with author rights can see a person’s profile; pure guest accounts have no access. The ratings as a beta reader are visible to author accounts and to the rated person.

Your data

Bio, talent tree progress and collaboration proof only appear if you have shared them. With a private profile, others only see your display name, tag and avatar plus the note “This profile is private.” Illumentis does not show your email address.

Limits

With a private profile, Illumentis hides the bio, badges, ratings and the list of books. Books in the Library of Alexandria stay findable there until you remove them there. Sections without content do not appear.
