Quests and statistics

Available Free Last reviewed: 24 Oct 2026

Quests are small optional tasks; the statistics show nine numbers about your activity.

What is it for?

Under “Quests” in the progress hub, you see your “My statistics” at the top and below it the active quests, split into “Daily quests” and “Weekly quests”. A quest is a small task around writing and worldbuilding, for example writing a certain number of words or creating characters. Each quest has a type, a status (“Active”, “Completed” or “Expired”) and, if there is a target, a progress made of the current value and the target value.

You do not report progress. Illumentis evaluates it again every time you open the page. Quests are assigned to you individually, at random from a pool. Daily quests apply to the calendar day, weekly quests to the week from Monday to Sunday, in each case in your chosen time zone. Each quest carries the label “Free” or “Pro”: with an active Vastitas studio (also as a trial) you get quests from both pools, otherwise only from the Free pool.

The statistics consist of nine tiles without charts: “Completed quests”, “Club battle participations”, “Mentorships as mentor”, “Chapters read as beta”, “Forum posts”, “Lore-locked books”, “Total logins”, “Bookworms spent” and “Gifts sent”.

How it works

  1. In the progress hub, open the “Quests” tile.

What you see afterwards: “My statistics” is at the top, with “Daily quests” and “Weekly quests” below.

  2. Work in Illumentis as usual, for example with chapters, characters or locations.

What you see afterwards: You do not have to report anything.

  3. Open the page again.

What you see afterwards: The progress is evaluated again; a finished quest shows “Completed”.

Who can do this?

All signed-in accounts see their quests and their statistics. You do not create quests yourself; the platform makes the selection.

Your data

Illumentis stores your quest assignments with their period and status. The statistics sum up numbers from your use of the app and are only visible to you.

Limits

The quest types “Writing sprint completed” and “4D relationship graph used” do not count any progress at the moment. The page does not show whether a quest brings a reward or which one. A Pro quest that has already been assigned stays until the end of the period, even if your studio expires.
