The “Keyboard shortcuts” page lists the shortcuts Illumentis actually has, in three groups.
If you write a lot, you do not like reaching for the mouse. With keyboard shortcuts you open the search, toggle Zen mode, switch tools in the editor or confirm a dialog without taking your hands off the keyboard. That keeps you in your writing flow.
The “Keyboard shortcuts” page in the account menu brings all shortcuts together. It is organized by where they apply: app-wide, on the writing screen and in confirmation dialogs. A function has the same combination on every screen.
On a Mac you use the Cmd key, on Windows and Linux the Ctrl key. The list shows only what really exists. When new shortcuts are added, Illumentis adds them there.
Open the account menu at the top right and choose “Keyboard shortcuts”.
What you see afterwards: The page shows the groups “App-wide”, “Writing screen” and “Confirmation dialogs”.
App-wide: Press Ctrl+K (Mac: Cmd+K).
What you see afterwards: The global spotlight, which you use to search worldbuilding elements, opens or closes.
Writing screen: Press Ctrl+Shift+F to toggle Zen mode and Esc to leave it.
What you see afterwards: The editor hides the tools or shows them again.
Writing screen: Switch the tool of the left zone with Ctrl+1 to Ctrl+5, the left panel with Ctrl+B and the right context panel with Ctrl+\.
What you see afterwards: The chosen panel appears or disappears.
Dialogs: Press Ctrl+Enter to confirm immediately or Esc to close.
What you see afterwards: If a required entry is missing, the focus jumps to the missing field.

The page shows a fixed list. There is no custom assignment that Illumentis could store in your account.
The shortcuts cannot be customized. The assignment of the digits is fixed: Ctrl+1 Navigator, Ctrl+2 World building, Ctrl+3 Sources, Ctrl+4 References, Ctrl+5 Settings. Ctrl+3 only works if the “Sources” tool is visible.
No. The shortcuts are fixed and cannot be customized.
The tool only appears with a matching studio and is currently a placeholder. The assignment of the digits stays the same in that case: Ctrl+4 still opens the references.
