The bell in the header shows you notices from Illumentis, for example about tickets, suspensions or security.
Some things happen in Illumentis without you triggering them: a support ticket is being handled, an edit suggestion is decided, or one of your sessions is ended. Illumentis informs you about such events with notifications. This way you do not have to check yourself whether something has happened with a ticket or a report.
They collect behind the bell in the header. A number on the bell shows how many are unread. A click on an entry opens the view it is about and marks the entry as read.
Notifications are messages from the app to you. You do not reply to them, and there is no separate settings screen for them. For this reason, individual types cannot be turned off at the moment.
Click the “Notifications” bell in the header.
What you see afterwards: The “Notifications” panel opens. If there is nothing, it says “No notifications yet.”
Read the entries. Unread ones are marked.
What you see afterwards: The number on the bell shows the unread entries, from ten on as “9+”.
Click an entry to jump to the view concerned.
What you see afterwards: The entry now counts as read.
Choose “Mark all as read” if you want to tidy up.
What you see afterwards: The number on the bell disappears.

Notifications contain notices about your account, for example about tickets, reports or sessions. They are tied to your account. For security notices, they state only what happened and what you can do.
The panel shows the latest 50 entries. The counter updates about once a minute. Individual types of notices cannot be turned off.
For example: your appeal was answered, your ticket was marked as resolved, an edit suggestion was decided, you received a warning, a temporary account suspension expired, you received a new direct message, or one of your sessions was ended automatically.
The panel shows the 50 newest. Older ones do not appear there.
No. At the moment there is no switch for individual types of notifications.
